After escaping, Sock makes friends with Shoe Sweetheart and the unlikely duo set out to create mischief with their Footwear Friends, including Uncle Doc Marten and Big Wader Boot, whilst trying to keep the Sock Babies’ unruly behaviour under control.

As the recent discovery in the Tumble-Drier sets off a surprising chain of events, the Sock Family welcomes the arrival of long-lost relative Cousin Miserable. A Practical Joke
There was, and always had been, a certain vain side to Sock. Every time she passed by a mirror, she would stop to admire her reflection in it, although, not being a fan of washing machines with water IN them, her reflection was quite often a grubby one!
Sock Goes To School
After a bad start to the morning, when the Sock Babies had been on their naughtiest behaviour, knocking over the laundry basket, and upsetting Slippers, Sock decided it was time to do something about such bad behaviour.
The Black Glove
Monday morning and everybody was quiet after the weekend’s excitement. There had been some trouble, and some strange “goings-on” in the Sock Club. This was to do with a strange, odd, black glove trying to make its way inside, and being refused entry. And why wouldn’t it? The idea of a Sock Club wasn’t to allow odd Gloves to join, was it?
Three Wishes For Sock
It was coming up to Christmas in “Sock House”, which was always a time for ribbons, chocolates and pink balloons. It was also a time for celebrating that another year had gone by where Sock, the Sock Babies, TwinTwin, Slippers, and of course, Uncle Doc Marten, had not been donated to the Oxfam Shop!
Sock's New Coat
With the weather turning colder, and the days getting shorter, Sock was badly in need of a warm coat to wear for the winter. The Sock Babies were always running around and getting up to mischief. Because they never sat still long enough to feel the cold, they didn’t need coats!
Shoe Runs The Marathon
Sock was happy! She was getting the family ready for bed, and the Sock Babies were behaving themselves for a change. The Shoebox was made, Uncle Doc Marten was laying sleeping by the front door, and Slippers were in the cupboard under the stairs. Unfortunately, TwinTwin was outside, hanging on the line in the garden.
Sock Learns To Drive
As poor Shoe was recovering from losing her heel, Sock, still feeling guilty for cheating, decided to do something to make it up to the little fellow. But how? After all, it had been a cruel trick to play, and now poor Shoe was left with a wonky heel, and feeling very upset indeed. Naughty Sock ! The day before, a new toy car had been delivered to the house. Uncle Doc Marten had been sitting quietly by the front door when it had arrived in a box.
